I yield!

I give up. Looks like I'll be using this template for a long time to come. Make the best with what you have.....but the templates out there are s000000000000000000 tempting!

Noob

Who would have thought that getting a new template would be so hard! I keep looking for nicer templates and when i do find them I can't extract them and if I can extract them, the thingy says that the Xml is wrong or not correct or not properly arranged.

Gaaaaah!! I can't believe im saying this but now I wish i understood HTML. I mean, just sticking in the cbox code in the template itself was like calculus.

Help!

Here and there

Today I feel like touching a few topics that have always irked me, like since forever.

For instance, hollywood. Why is it that whenever they make a story about people in some other country say asia or the middle east they always use mat sallehs to play the major roles and not Asians themselves??Also, they get the cultures so totally mixed up. I mean, since when do Arabian men go on romantic horse rides with an infidel(person who aint muslim)? Why?? Sebagai contoh, in the movie "Sahara" not the modern one but the one made in 1980-something (check IMDB), the setting is, of course, in sahara. BUT!!!! to portray the arabian men, they just took some kwai lohs, wrapped them up like arabians and painted them brown. I mean if they had taken some real natives, they could save on wardrobe, the bucketloads of make-up(they are naturally brown) and you can also pay them dirt cheap wages as well. Then, it strikes me that they can't speak English. So, there goes my arguments out the window.

Another thing is the Malaysian timing (not Ti Ming). I swear we need a whole new time zone just for ourselves when it comes to setting appointments. e.g 7 p.m most probably means 9 maybe 9.30 p.m.

There is also the Indian saying that no matter how much a dog barks at a mountain, he can't really move it. Go figure.

Have you noticed that after you've read a novel, you become a bit weird for a while? Well, i do, here are a few examples.

After Shajitha reads Jane Austen:

Friend: Sigh! I just feel so sad and depressed.

Shajy: Oh dear! Pray!Do tell me what is it that concerns you so??!

After Shajitha has read a book on philosophy

Friend: Hey, finished your maths homework yet??

Shajitha: What is the point of homework? What is the point of life? Why are we here? Are we meant to be here......(you get the point)

Heh heh.... imagine if I read too many murder novels and serial killer biographies..bet you guys would be worried :D

A Small Beginning

The beginning of the universe!

This is the beginning of my blog posts, as this is so aptly titled, and my reason in emphasising this particular point is that you may not find my posts as interesting as they should be. But in due course, i assure you, i'll endeavour to make my blog worth reading especially for my long suffering friends who still visit my msn spaces page for that slim possibility I may have posted something new- I mean you, JW. (A moment of silence for the expiration of the afore mentioned msn spaces.) *Sniff*

Well, out with the old and in with the new they say... I shall be making improvements to my blog but for now, you'll just have to put up with it. Honestly, I'm going to go look for a better template thingy. Though, I do think the title is a stroke of genius on my part. It means "thoughts". See how much better something sounds in french than in english?

I promised a small beginning, so I'm not going to ramble on. Till we meet again in the next post, adieu!
